Ann Akinnuoye is a first-generation Nigerian daughter and one of eight children in a uniquely blended family. She moved to the United States at the age of four. At the age of nine, she lost her father who served as her safe place. This unexpected loss set the foundation for her relationship with God, her deep desire to understand people, and her view of the world around her.
From a young age she has always had a direct and bold personality-a blessing and, sometimes, a curse both personally and professionally. Her journey to becoming a multifaceted marketing executive, investor, creative, and author has never been linear. From her start in finance to creating and leading award-winning campaigns and initiatives for some of the world's biggest Fortune 500 companies, she has had to constantly and intentionally pivot throughout uncharted waters.
